The FPGA/ASIC Design Engineer will play a crucial role in the architecture, implementation, and verification/validation through software integration tests for the delivery of complex FPGAs and/or ASICs used in high-speed cryptographic applications. This position is vital to ensuring the robust quality and delivery of communication products for national security.
Develop architectures for high-throughput complex designs involving cryptographic algorithms (VHDL) with high-speed protocols such as NVMe, PCIe/SRIOV, 10G-400G Ethernet, and TCP/IP; Implement and integrate IP targeting ARM SOC FPGAs or ASICs; Write and debug tests/sequences for end-to-end simulation on the UVM framework with System Verilog Assertions; Conduct software-driven validation on SOC evaluation boards utilizing state-of-the-art EDA flows/methodologies, including Synopsys DC/Primetime/Synplify, and Xilinx/Intel/Microchip EDA tools.
Proficiency in VHDL and FPGA design/debug using Xilinx FPGA/Vivado; Excellent analytical and debugging skills; Experience mapping algorithms and standards (Ethernet, TCP/IP, AXI) to hardware; Active Secret Clearance.
High-Level Synthesis (HLS) with Vivado; Experience with embedded software development (OOP) and System Verilog Assertions (SVA); Knowledge of high-speed protocols like PCIe, TCP/IP, and Ethernet.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, or Master's Degree
