About This Role

In this role you will focus on solving complex problems through targeted research and cross-disciplinary development of hardware, software, and systems. Digital Hardware Engineers specialize in designing high-density baseband boards with a focus on cost-efficiency, reliability, and precision—requiring expertise in analog design and simulation.

Roles & Responsibilities

Ultra high-speed FPGA and PCB circuit design, simulation, and verification testing; Manage complex board designs from concept to production release; Collaboration with a high-performing engineering team; Independent responsibility for driving FPGA and PCB designs through the entire process; Comprehensive working knowledge of FPGA design, board bring-up, debugging, and hardware lab testing.

Required Skills

Knowledge of FPGA design methodologies including VHDL, Verilog, or System Verilog; Experience with FPGA vendor tools; Practical understanding of Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, digital debug tools & techniques; Experience in schematic capture and PCB layout design tool methodologies as well as FPGA verification methodologies.

Preferred Skills & Nice-to-Haves

Previous Nokia intern or co-op experience.

Education Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
